ACCOMODATION:
This
34-room hotel includes eighteen duplexes, 2 suites, and 14 large
rooms each with its balcony. Room furnishings include bedside
tables and desks crafted from iron and local basalt. Walnut cupboards
and walk-in closets are provided with wrought- iron hand-made
clothes hangers. Beds feature wrought-iron headboards, Sealy Crown
Jewel mattresses, and Frette sheets.
RESTAURANT:
You
can enjoy traditional Armenian cuisine, based on fresh local ingredients
and regional recipes, in the medieval dining hall, or on the open
terrace with its spectacular view over the lake. You even may
wish to help prepare their own meals in the restaurant.
FACILITIES:
The
spacious bathrooms, made of green stone, feature shower stalls
with glass enclosures.To complement your stay, there is a pool,
health spa, and beach facilities.
The
facilities at the Tsapatagh lend themselves well to weddings,
baptisms, and other traditional family ceremonies. Furthermore,
folkloric events such as Trndez, Tsakhkazard, and Vardavar are
celebrated with traditional rituals. For outdoor-minded sports
enthusiasts, activities may include hiking, sailing, and riding.
Boat trips on the lake may also be organized.
